Ripstop Max Pants

my pants ripped after a week. I had to pay for shipping. these pants nearly cost me 170$. very dissatisfied

Basic terms the pant is generally very sturdy and has convenient work, storage pockets, etc.
I only recently found out that there was a lifetime guarantee on the triple stitching. Three of my pairs of rip stop pants have holes where the triple seem has failed on the left inner thigh area of the pant. I can put my finger through the hole in this area in all three pairs. The damage is in the same location in all three pairs of pants.

Most comfortable pants ever!!!

Very comfortable and practical. However I was surprised on how quickly my first pair of Ripstop Max started wearing out and tearing above the knee pockets up to the front pockets on both legs.
This also happened with the Bantam pants and the predecessor to the Ripstop Max.Not really sure why this is a common problem. Maybe the stone colour has something to do with this issue.

I love these pants. The built in knee pads are hard to be without once you get used to them. The pockets are well thought out and versatile.

For a woodworker it is impractical to run around in a shop apron or tool belt all day. The attached pockets solve that problem brilliantly. When I am on an install the built in kneepads are the only ones that I ever found that are comfortable and don't slip, and I own all the expensive kneepads available. Here are the resons for only 4 stars: There is no good place to store a pencil. They get shorter over time, and just drown in any of the many pockets. A dedicated holster for a wrtiting instrument right were you can grab it easily is a no brainer in my mind. Also, the little velcro strips holding the kneepads in place keep opening up and I have to hunt for my missing kneepad all over the job site. And, there is only one useable color if you work in a dusty environment. The dark blue, white and black all make you look like you are a hobo after 15 minutes of doing actual work. What is the obsession these days with black any way? And lastly, the fly of these pants loves to open by themselves unless you deliverately flatten the pull. Big deal when you want to look professional to your customers! Any ol jeans zipper would be better than this. Just saying, because these pants aren't cheap....

Great pants high-quality excellent price. The riverside material does not stretch at all however, if you have bigger legs, these are not the pants for you as I found out.

The best pants I have ever owned. A little more room in the quad and glute area would be nice, instead of climbing up in waist size, but I understand that is very specific.

Great fit, more pocket space compared to versions I’ve got in the past.

Tool belt replacement. Always disliked toolbelts, these are wonderful, great for carpentry work. More pockets than I can usually use, which is nice for those occasions when you just need another pocket.

These pants are fantastic, I love the pockets - I bought one pair without the extra pockets I hardly ever wear them except when I am not working, the quality is top-notch and last me for years

Pants are great, better than any other brands I have tried. The ripstop fabric is lighter for the summer and very durable.
Strange item, I ordered a pair of tan and blue and the blue have a slightly different pocket layout, one having a zipper, and extra waist velcro flaps. Not sure if this is new or old stock, either way both are good.

Have to start off by saying I should have bought longer legs but stayed with the same length of my previous blakladers. The knee pads ride up a bit. They still work great, I love them.

Completely happy with this product. Lots of attention to detail. The designs keep getting smarter and more user friendly. Strong fabric / comfortable / love the knee pads / 10 out of 10 in my opinion.

Lightweight, and comfortable in hot climates. Plenty of pockets to hold the things you need.

I have been using this style of pant in my installation business now for over 8 years. The built in tool belt and the built in knee pads are especially handy when working. I spend a lot of time kneeling and if it wasn't for these pants and pads, I would have no knees left !! I especially like the new design with the upper pocket for insertion of the optional knee pads. The quality is outstanding and they last for years.

I prefer blaklader pants for work over anything else. These ripstop pants are tough and cool on hot days.

Perfect work pants with lots of pockets

These pants have held up well so far. Have only had them for a month or so. I also have 2 pair of the Bantam work pants. The Ripstop are the better of the two due to fit and material. I wear them for home inspections and daily at the ranch. You would never know how much full time knee pads are needed. At the end of the day my body is in better shape due to not kneeling on hard surfaces. I highly recommend these pants for anyone who doesn't sit at a desk. My only concern is how long the knee pockets for the pads hold up over time. If I was wearing "regular" pants the knees would have been ripped to shreads by now tho. Did I mention the pockets? Great design!!
