Not the same material as the other colors in the same pants, this material falls apart quicker, or you’re building with less quality now as opposed to when you made the previous 2 pairs I have bought before.
You guys also need to build in something at the corner of eachYou guys also need to build in something at the corner of each of the main regular pockets so that you can hook things like Milwaukee clip holders for drills etc. onto the corner of the pocket, like a piece of leather or fake leather or something like that that’s sturdy or so that it doesn’t get torn apart when you start hanging things on there. That. That’s where the real fault with these pants lies because the material you’re using on this current version of the pants falls apart there.

Beautiful mix of colors.

I’ve ordered many pairs of these work pants.
They are comfortable and have lots of pockets. What I don’t like is the material at the knees wears quite easily and the knee pads start coming out of the holes eventually
Also the material around the pockets and crotch area start to wear fairly quick
These pants only last me 4-6 months and for the price they should last at least a year

so far so good! Loved. Definitely runs small.

These novel idea for pants have largely turned into a daily wear. I work (or used to until the productions were largely taken away) and having the many reinforced pockets to hold tools replaced my tool belt was a back saver.
I still wear them almost daily for a number of reasons. The side pockets on the legs work well for wallet, phone, secret decoder rings… Not having the wallet in the back pocket makes it easier to sit. The zippered pocket keeps it safer in crowded areas where it might be liberated.
The hammer loop works well and has survived numerous missions where a different type of loop would stick out too far.
The knee pads require a special mention. Even without the padding inside, the extra materials in that area help protect the knees in ways lesser pants would not. With the padding, even abrupt impacts to the knees such as getting into a miniature spaceship to adjust something whilst camera is waiting to shoot is not a problem. Barely feeling the unsafe ground elements makes the end of day that much more pleasurable.
These pants breathe much better than the 4-way stretch pants - making them tolerable for warmer conditions.
After a while, the crotch area material gives way to tears and holes through cotton loss after many missions and washes. At that point, best to get a new pair. I tried patching, however it is an area in so much stress from movement that even the patches will give way.
The thread bare issue I wish would be solved by further material engineering to better take the abuse for being in that area. I like the cotton material there next to my bits, however, it suffers from movement and many washes like Levi’s or other similar constructions.
I have a couple pairs of these and would purchase another when these get tired.

Love them

I love these pants when they are new. The design and placement of all the pockets is mint.

The issue I personally have as someone who is short (5'2"), is that the waist portion is too tall for me, so even pulled up all the way and wearing a belt, if I spread my legs, the material is stretched in my crotch area and very quickly the seams rip and my crotch is visible to my customers when I am on ladders.

If I could stop battling the crotch of these pants and having to sloppily repair them, they would be perfect

These are well designed work pants. Comfortable, lots of pockets, with the right size and placement. Need to add some suspenders as they slide down a bit. The knee pad pockets could be a little higher.

Great work pants. Waist size is one size small. 38 waist is a 40 etc.

The tool pockets tend to get hooked on things as you are going down since they are not attached at the bottom. I know it to allow movement but its annoying. But a quality issue its the stitching on the bottom of the tools pocket came undone. I was surprised the pocket didn't also have some material in the bottom of the pocket to stop punters from tools. Ive worn them for a week. Otherwise they are great pants.

X1600 WORK PANTS Grey/Black 34:30

The before washing and the after washing size is drastically different. I would say that the wasit went from a 34 to a 32 which is a bit snug for me. The leg length also shrunk after washing by at least an 1" maybe even 2". Compared to all Mt other work pants, Dickies, Halley Hansons etc. The leg lenght is way shorter for the same leg lenght I ordered. They are too short for be and now they catch on my boots, which is a annoying.

I have used these pants for years. This is my fourth set. I always buy 2 at a time. They are my only work pants I think I will ever use. Great longevity and durability. They take a beating. Love the built in "apron pockets" that tuck away when not needed, built in knee pad option. They are just the best. I am a contractor who abuses these daily and they last.

X1600 WORK PANTS Grey/Black 30:28

These have been my go-to work pants for several years now. I buy a pair or two per year and never regret it. The pockets are perfectly placed for my trade so I don't need a tool belt or any additional pouches. The extra durability in the material is super noticable vs even other Blaklader models, as I am extremely rough on my pants and they take a beating from grinder sparks, running against ladders, getting caught on stuff etc etc.

Sure i might get a hole here and there over the year of abuse I put them through, but the material doesn't continue to rip so the damage doesn't spread and is easily patched. I have and will continue to recommend this product to anyone in the heavy trades that I get the chance to

My only downside is that they are very loose fitting and baggy on me because I'm not a large guy, And I'm also not very tall so even though these are offered in a 28 length the waist sits a little low on me which leads to eventual tearing in the area between the legs when I do a lot of crouching and lunging etc

Great for what they are. It would be more handy if there were a place to hold carpenter pencils

X1600 WORK PANTS Grey/Black 38:34

Pants fit great for length and waist. The only Achilles heel of the product is that after you slide in the (overpriced) knee pads, there’s no way to secure them inside. They just fall out when you’re walking. I’ve had to add stitches in order to keep the knee pads in place. Wouldn’t hurt to add snaps or Velcro or something for the knee pads slots.
Otherwise, nice looking products.

The pants are great However, on day # 2 the main button's rivet above the zipper snapped and now that I have worn them work in they can not be returned. Pleaase advise as to options for rectifying the situation.

These are the fourth pair of the x1600 pants I have purchased. The first two pairs finally
wore out after over two years of wearing them on the job. They are definitely the best work pants I have ever had. They wear like iron, fit great, and are really well designed for carrying tools, parts and screws or nails. I've been wearing Blaklader work pants and shorts for over four years and i can't tell you how many times people have stopped me and asked who makes the pants and where i got them. I should print cards to hand out to people. Anyway, Blaklader x1600 pants are the best.

These are the best choice for a tradesman who may not always require a tool belt in a finish work environment. Everything stores well in the pockets, kneepads are much better than strap around style.

Great pants very comfortable I'll just have to see how long they hold up doing foundation walls and slab's I'm lucky to get 7 months out of a pair of Carhartt Dickey's a little less. If these last I'll buy 5 or 6 more pairs
